693	BBC Radio 5 Live	National news and sport network, launched on March 28th 1994, replacing the original Radio 5. Has exclusive radio rights to FA Premiership football, usefull for those that don't have Sky. Also available on Digital Radio
828	BBC Asian Network	See 837khz
837	BBC Asian Network	BBC network in the Midlands for the Asian community. Broadcasts on this frequency in Leicester, but also broadcasts on 828 and 1458 in Birmingham. Also available on Digital Radio
909	BBC Radio 5 Live	See 693khz. Also available on Digital Radio
945	Gold Derby	Launched on 4th October 1988, originally called GEM-AM, this is a station which broadcasts oldies from the 60's and 70's. The station is part of GCap's Gold Network. The 945khz frequency is primarily for the Derby area, as the station also broadcasts on 999khz in Nottingham.Also available on Digital Radio in the Leicester and Nottingham areas
990	Gold Wolverhampton	Another Gold Network station, this is for the Wolverhampton area, and was launched on 15th January 1989. Also broadcasts on 1017khz AM in Shropshire.Also available on Digital Radio in the Wolverhampton area.
999	Gold Nottingham	See 945khz
1017	Gold Shropshire	Gold for Shropshire. See 990khz. Also available on Digital Radio in the Shropshire area.
1053	Talk Sport	National talk station, launched on 14th February 1995. Broadcasts on the old AM frequecies of Radio 1. Originally it broadcast all sorts of phone ins and topical debates, but recently has become devoted to sport, at least during most of the day. Now promotes itself as "The UK's first all sports radio station". Also broadcasts on 1089khz AM. Also available on Digital Radio

1116	BBC Radio Derby	BBC local radio for Derby
1152	Gold Birmingham	A replacement for Xtra AM, the previous station on this frequency, this is a sister station of BRMB, as it broadcasts in Birmingham, although most of the programmes come from London, as it is part of the new Gold Network. Also available on Digital Radio in the Birmingham area.
1215	Virgin Radio	National pop and rock station launched on 30th April 1993. Christian O Connell present the breakfast show. Other presenters include Russ Williams, Ben Jones, amongst others. Also available on Digital Radio
1260	Sabras Radio	Asian station in Leicester, launched on 7th September 1995, replacing Sunrise East Midlands. Also available on Digital Radio in the Leicester area
1287	Radio Gwendolen	Hospital radio station serving Leicester General Hospital, broadcasting on a low power AM licence
1296	Radio XL	Asian station based in Birmingham. Also available on Digital Radio in the Birmingham area
1332	Gold Peterborough	Part of the Gold Network, this station broadcasts in Peterborough and replaced 1332 The World's Greatest Music Station when Hereward Radio was bought by the GWR Group.
1359	Gold Coventry	Part of the Gold Network, this station broadcasts to Coventry and replaced Xtra AM in Coventry on 7th March 1994, shortly after Mercia Sound was bought by the GWR Group.Also available on Digital Radio in the Coventry area.
1368	BBC Radio Lincolnshire	BBC local radio for Linclonshire
1458	BBC Asian Network	See 837khz
1557	Gold Northamptonshire	Part of the Gold Network, this station broadcasts to Northampton and replaced Northants Supergold shortly after the station had been bought by the GWR Group.
