Chris Pegg firat appeared on Leicester Sound in January 1992, when the station began sharing evening and overnight shows with Mercia FN.

Chris presented Sunday mornings on both stations from 4.00am - 6.00am, as well as various shows on Mercia FM. He later presented Sunday nights on both stations 7.00pm - 10.00pm.

He later moved to Hereward FM in Peterborough to be Programme Controller, then onto Beacon Radio in Wolverhampton, again as Programme Controller. After a spell in charge at Trent FM in Nottungham, Chris is now programme controller of Heart 106 in the East Midlands
