VIKING SKULL / BORN IN HELL

Viking Skull might be made up of ex Raging Speedhorn members but their sound bares no similarity at all apart from the vocals, if anything they emulate late 70’s Classic Rock, to great effect, in particular Thin Lizzy.

Like fellow British band Tokyo Dragons, Viking Skull are pure, un adulterated Rock ‘N’ Roll and in these days when all the current bands are going for that Hardcore sound, to my ears it’s a breath of fresh air, soaked in Beer and cheap cigarettes. The no compromising track titles say it all, "Beer, Drugs and Bitches", "Rock N Roll Suicide", "Saddle Up" and "Red Hot Woman" being a prime example’s of the Headbanging classics that are on offer here, I bet they go down a storm live and the fact that a couple of big bands got worried and took them off their tours recently only goes to show how good these guys ore.

If you’re looking for some real Rock then this is for definitely one for you.
