TOKYO DRAGONS / GIVE ME THE FEAR

Tokyo Dragons are Classic Rock with a capital C, they re create the fun loving feel and innocence of the NWOBH of the early 80’s with such style and pnaz that they remind me of Def Leppard and Saxon in their early days with a touch of Thunder thrown in for good measure, but what the Dragons are all about is good time Rock N Roll.

The thing about Blues based Rock is that it is timeless and all of the tracks could easily have been written any time over the last 30 years but despite this they still sound fresh. Songs such as "Get Em Off", "What The Hell" and "Ready Or Not" are just such fun to listen to you cant fail to enjoy them and I bet they kick up a right storm live if this CD is anything to go by, in a time when every band has a vocalist that just screams it good to see a young band bucking the trend and using the talents of someone who can sing. After my recent reviews of Opeth, Fear Factory and Vesania its nice to hear something as refreshing as the Dragons, go and see them and buy this Only if you enjoy a good time as this is Fun Loving, Hard Living, Hard Drinking, Head banging Heavy Rock As it used to be done.
