STILL REMAINS / OF LOVE AND LUNACY

There is only one word to describe this CD, inspired, Still Remains are one of the new breed of American bands that have fused Aggressive Metal with Melody and made it work.

Their sound is similar to In Flames and Dark Tranquillity but with more of a leaning towards Hardcore but it’s the mixture of gruff and harmonised vocals that help this band rise above the rest, couple this with the superb key touches throughout, not to mention the killer riffs and what you have is the best of both world and what’s more it very catchy, without being annoying. Best tracks; "White Walls", "To live and Die In Fire", "In Place Of Hope" and "Bliss". They will be touring with Trivium, and 2 Inches Of Blood on the Roadrage 2005 tour in May, miss them at your peril.
