Now signed to Roadrunner in the UK, Next finds the band sounding heavier, more aggressive, abrasive and intense than they have ever done before, they started out as a post Grunge band but nearly all of the tracks on here are as heavy as the Vol. 3 Slipknot era material, I kid you knot.

There are samples and new twists to the Sevendust arsenal and the tracks "Ugly" and "Pieces" are prime examples of Modern Metal as you will get anywhere, its not until track 5 that we get anywhere near a Power Ballad and a more powerful, emotive song would be hard to find (this side of Seether or Alter Bridge) and is begging to be played on the Radio, in fact there are only 2 ballads on this entire CD and the other one is saved till last.

This is another strong CD from Sevendust, if you like your Metal with a touch of class and melody and intelligence Next is the one for you AND just to make it even better there is (you guessed it) a free DVD and as these things go its not bad at all.
