NEW SHIT 11 / VARIOUS

The long running free sampler from those niece people at Roadrunner reaches no. 11, six of their current releases and there is something here for everyone.

It starts off with Trivium and the track form their forthcoming "Ascendancy "album, "Pulling Harder On the Strings of Your Martyr", (currently in the Top 10 downloads chart) and this has become a favourite on my MP3 player.

Next up is the equally brilliant but very different Open Hand with "Touch Girl" which is as finer slice of commercial stoner as you will find anywhere this side of the next Queens album.

Wednesday 13 is up next with a track called "I walked With a Zombie", a fine piece of Horror pop/Metal that is very infectious and will find you singing along in no time flat and there is some very clever play on words in the lyrics and yes the album is just as good.

The following three tracks are all new signings to the RR camp and are all Hardcore in various guises, The Agony Scene and Blood Has Been Shed being very typical of the genre and Still Remains leaning towards the more Melodic end of the spectrum and well worth listening out for.
