KORN / SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE

2005 finds the new album by Korn sounding bigger and more percussive than they have ever sounded before, more like "Follow The Leader" crossed "Antichrist Superstar" era Manson than anything they have done in the past few years.

The first single "Twisted Transistor" is fairly representative of the album as a whole and the tracks "Love Song" and "Open Up" are similarly inclined. At times the band get very experimental and even Avant-garde with the instrumental passages of songs, that gives the CD a darker, broodier feel to it, almost like a film soundtrack at times, especially the last track "Tearjerker" which wouldn’t have sounded out of place on the Queen Of The Damned film.

This is Korn pleasing them selves and I suspect the fans, doing what they do best, ignoring the corporate beast that is the music biz.
