KILLWHITNEYDEAD / SO PRETTY, SO PLASTIC

This is a band that was introduced to me by occasional contributor and friend Arathorn and very interesting it is too, Death Metal with pnaz, killer riffs and films samples by the score, which at first glance would seem messy but actually adds another dimension to the songs.

This is the bands 3^rd CD and their sound is a bit like a commercial Cannibal Corpse, (if such a thing was possible) the word commercial in this sense meaning the songs are accessible, concise, with riffs to die for and those samples peppered throughout the songs just make it irresistible. The songs and titles have a very black sense of humour, "I Wouldn’t Kick Her Out Of Bed Fore Eating Crackers", "One Match And A Gallon Of Gasoline" and "Put Your Mouth Where The Money Is" to name but 3, this is a Death Metal album with a difference that will get you hooked and its fun trying to remember which films the samples were taken from.

Oh by the way don’t judge this CD by the cover it looks like some pop band, artistic humour I guess, or just the guys breaking the mould, thanks again to Arathorn, that’s a beer I owe you mate.
