CROWBAR / LIFESBLOOD FOR THE DOWNTRODDEN

You know the old saying , "You don’t know what you’ve got till its gone" well that’s how I felt about Crowbar, its really good to have their Sabbathesque, Sludge, Doom laden Heavy Metal back, with a new label and a new lease of life.

The Crowbar sound is still recognisable but with updated touches here and there, like plenty of time changes, some very nifty chromatic harmonised guitar chords and even some catchy hooks in some of the chorus’s that make this a very memorable CD to listen to I don’t need to go on at length about this CD as the music speaks for itself, just check out the snippet on the March Download show, "Dead Sun" and tell me you don’t like it.

Best tracks include; "Dead Sun", "Fall Back To Zero", "Slave No More" and the lengthy acoustic driven "Lifesblood" that includes piano, very different to anything they have done before but still very good.
