CHILDREN OF BODOM / ARE YOU DEAD YET?

Their last album Hatecrew Death Roll was a bit of an international turning point for this Finnish, Melodic Death Metal band and I am pleased to report that Are You Dead Yet? Not only continues the good work where the last one left off it actually betters it.

If anything its even better, its stronger Melodically and there is even a bit of

Progressiveness about the Keyboard and Guitar interplay that springs up throughout this very tight, Melodic but aggressive CD. This does allow the band to be a bit more inventive with the soundscapes they create and helps them build upon the aggressive Death Metal structure of their songs, for with this, songs like "In Your Face" and "If You Want Peace, Prepare For War" and "Next In Line" rise about their current contemporise and will make people sit up and listen.

Overall this is a very good album and I don’t feel the need to go on about it as it gets the Justin Case seal of approval and a thumbs up!
