WILDHEARTS / COUPLED WITH

You would expect an album of B-side’s to be second rate song’s wouldn’t you, well normally that’s what you would get but we are talking about the Wildhearts here and you know they don’t do things by half, no way.

Considering the nature of this compilation it is surprisingly coherent and the quality control for "Must Be Destroyed" must have been phenomenally high because all these songs are better than some other bands main output. They are not what you would call pedestrian either as most are very memorable songs as "Stormy In The North", "The People That Time Forgot", "Eager To leave Er", "Looking For The One" and "Let’s Go" prove, the first track was even a hit and didn’t make the album, why?

This has been available before under a smaller guise as the Japanese CD "Riff After Riff", but this has more tracks and the video to "Stormy In The North", if you are a Wildhearts fan you will lap this up and if you are not how can you turn down such a great CD for under a tenner.
