VAN HALEN / BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

To Celebrate the Sammy Hagar has returned to Van Halen the label have released this 2 CD set featuring the best material form the David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar and it does exactly what it says on the label.

The two ears of Van Halen were quite distinct, The DLR era being all brash, over the top full of youthful exuberance and the Sammy era, more refined, up market and slightly more commercial.  Each era has its supporters and to say that one is better than the other is like saying chocolate is better than cheese, how can you say that "Dreams" is better than "Jump" or that "Panama" was a bigger hit than "Pound cake".

Van Halen haven’t done much for years partly because of Eddie Van Halen’s ill health and the less said about the 3 effort the better, in fact no tracks are taken from that album at all.  All the best are here and if you are in the market for a best of, this is the one and it even includes 3 new tracks with Hagar, what more could you ask for and all for the price of a single CD.
