VADER / THE BEAST

Poland’s finest Metal band return with yet another very strong album and these guys, like fine wine get better with age, in fact I can say without fear of contradiction there is not a single track on offer here that would sound out of place on the last Slayer CD.

I’m not saying they are a copyist band because they’re not but Slayer has been an influence on them and many, many other bands as well. The power and aggression is so tense at times it’s like a monster just waiting to break free, just one more riff and it’s loose. The track "Dark Transmissions" sums up the album beautifully, dark, foreboding and threatening as a sawn off shotgun. There are some slower more brooding moments on this CD and if you liked any of there previous efforts you will love this. Best tracks; "Dark Transmissions", "Out Of The Deep", "I Shall Prevail", "Choices" and "Firebringer".
