SYSTEM SHOCK / ARCTIC INSIDE

This is another band I came across while browsing the Karmageddon website, like the Project Failing Flesh I was so impressed with what I heard I bought the CD.

Swedish Death Metal is world renowned and with quality like this its not hard to see why, their sound is a cross between Hypocrisy, Children Of Bodom with a touch of Rotting Christ thrown in for good measure. The guitar work throughout this CD is absolutely superb and the Progressive / Classical keyboard touches turn what could have been ordinary into something special. The majority of the vocals are of the guttural kind with occasional harmonies and the Death Metal riffs just keep on coming.

Best tracks; "Orbital", "Call Of Orion", "Devilwish" and "Safe Inside", if you are looking for something new with more than a touch of class, look no further than System Shock, this maybe their first CD but it won’t be their last.
