There are a lot of really good Black and Death Metal CD releases around at the moment and here is another for your ever growing list, Swedish Death Metal band Stormrider.

The songs are all dark, brooding, menacing and as dark as they come, "Odin’s Ride", "Kill Yourself" and "God Is Dead" are typical of the quality of material on offer here and it’s enough to keep any ardent Metal fan happy for some time.  Their sound is an amalgam of all the current big names but they still somehow mange to stamp their own identity on the songs, the vocals are a mix of gruff and the screamed type which sounds a bit schizophrenic but works very well indeed, YX does an excellent job.
