RAUNCHY / CONFUSION BAY
This is the second CD form the Swedish band and like their first "Velvet Noise" it’s stuffed to bursting with high energy modern industrial tinged Metal, Mnemic they take their lead from the likes of Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad & Machine Head and a fine CD it is too. As well as the driving rhythm guitars and solid bass section all the songs have an overlying haunting quality to the melodic vocals and touché of keyboards here and there make this a very listenable album, not that this is easy listening because it isn’t it’s just that it has an overlying sense of memorable phrases in the melodic structure that underlines all the tracks. Listen out for; "I Get What I See", "Summer Of Overload", "Show Me Your Real Darkness" & "The Devil". If you like any of the bands I mention above you will love Raunchy, don’t miss out on a great Modern Metal CD.
