NEW SHIT VOL. 8 / VARIOUS

This is the free sampler for the Roadrunner label with the pick of their current and new releases, starting off with a new band called Dirty American, with the title track of their forthcoming debut called "Strange Generation" and it’s a cracking Rock track. If you don’t know of the band you soon will do. Formed from the ashes of the Workhorse Movement, their sound is more direct and very radio friendly.

Track 2 is 36 Crazyfists, with a track off their 2nd CD "A Snow Capped Romance" and if you have check out my top 10 downloads recently you will already know how good "The Heart & The Shape" is, a powerful blend of Hardcore with a touch of melody.

Next up is another new band called Red Tape with the track "Stalingrad" and I have been pushing this track on the download chart for some time and is similar to the 36 Craxyfist track in style and just as good.

40 Below Summer get all "Self Medicated" and this is also a former top 10 download track, full of energy, power and aggression.

Hardcore stalwarts Hatebreed contribute "This Is Now" and could even be an anthem for the harder edged sound that seems to be very prevalent at the moment.

Last but by no means is least a taster for the forthcoming Soulfly CD, this is the title track "Prophecy" and is Max and the crew at their best full of great Metal riffs, with a tribal rhythm and just as good as "Back To The Primitive". For full review see elsewhere.
