IN THE EYES OF DEATH 4 / VARIOUS  

This is another really good 2 disc sampler of all the current releases and up and coming  ones from those nice people at Century Media (hi Donna) and as such is an essential purchase so you don’t miss out on any good music.   The rack list reads like a who’s who of the current scene and a lot of these are past Top 10 download tracks from the last 12 months. 

Basically the disc splits into 3 parts.  First we will deal with the established bands that have tracks taken form their current releases and they are many and numerous, like Strpping Young Lad, "Relentless", Krisiun "Murderer", Suidakra "Trails Of Gore" Dark Tranquillity "Monochromatic Stains", Nightrage "Hero" Moonspell "In & Above Man" to name but a few, all essential listening.  

Then come the previously unreleased tracks by Carnal Forge "Hits You Like A Hammer", The Forsaken "You Will Never Die", Shadows Fall "This Is My Own" and one by Extol all are top notch tracks and well worth getting.  

Last but by no mean least is the advance tracks from forth coming releases, 7 in total and if they are anything to go by it’s going to be another busy year for Century Media.  One’s to look out for include, God Forbid "Force Fed", brutal and aggressive, Eyes Of Fire, "Disintegrate", doom laden Metal, Into Eternity "Splintered Vision", classically inspired Power Metal,  Glass Casket "Chew Your Finger" and the eastern flavoured Death Metal of Orphaned Land "Birth Of The Three".  All this for the price of a round of drinks and no hangover in the morning, go get it!
