DEMONOID / RIDERS OF THE APOCALYPSE

This is a side project of several Therion members, namely Kristian Niemann (guitars), Johan Niemann (bass) Christofer Johnsson (vocals) and Chimaira member Rickard Evensand (drums) and musically speaking this is Old School Death Metal with a touch of classic Thrash thrown in for good measure and very good it is too.

This has been over 2 years in the making between busy recording and touring schedules and is a loosely speaking a concept album regarding the four Horsemen. There are 3 songs to each of the 3 parts, the first dealing with the worst that man has done, the second the restitution of the Gods and the last coming of Death. All of this lyrical content is done with very intelligent lyrics and set to a fantastic crunchy Thrash tinged Death Metal that sounds truly amazing.

I hope this is not the last we hear from Demonoid as it is one of the bet of it’s ilk out at the moment, don’t miss out on the great CD. Best Tracks; "Warcult", "Hunger My Consort", "Firestorms" and "The End Of Our Times".
