DAMAGEPLAN / NEW FOUND POWER

When Pantera finally called it a day officially last year, the world of Metal lost a another great band to history and I said at the time that they would be back in some form or other and I wasn’t wrong, enter Damageplan.

Featuring the talents of guitarist Dimebag Darrell and drummer Vinnie Paul, Damageplan rip through the speakers like they mean business and they sound not too dissimilar to Pantera without Phil and it works well, vocalist Pat Lacimar does a fantastic job almost as good as Phil at his best and is able to scream his heart out just the same.

The classic riffs are back, Pantera may be dead, long live Damageplan, go see them at Download 2004 and witness a good band in action.
