ARCH ENEMY / DEAD EYES SEE NO FUTURE

This a stopgap EP from Arch Enemy that features the title track, 3 live tracks, 3 cover versions and a video all for the price of a CD single, cant be bad.

The track "Dead Eyes See Nothing" is a good track and the thing the most people want to know is what are they like live, the 3 tracks on here answer that question and if like me you missed them on their recent tour, you missed a good tour by the sound of it. The live tracks are "Burning Angel", "We Will Rise" and "Heart Of Darkness" and are played to perfection. The cover versions are studio tracks and have all had an Arch Enemy twist put into them, the Megadeth cover "Symphony OF Destruction" is enigmatic, a cover of the Manowar song "Kill With Power" and a reworking of Mr Amott’s old band Carcass song "Incarnate Solvent Abuse.

The video is "We Will Rise" and is as good a Metal Video as you will get anywhere.
