12 STONES / POTTERS FIELD

This is the 2nd CD from the Nu Metal band that made their name by their vocalist Paul McCoy appearing on a track by a then unknown band called Evanescence who had a bit of a hit with "Bring Me To Life" the other year.

Musically they come under the Melodic end of the market similar to Creed, Sevendust, 3 Doors Down but with a harder edge with a touch of Papa Roach thrown in for good measure. The songs are polished, memorable and good to listen to and I would image that they sound great being played in an open top car on a very hot sunny day or coming over the radio. Tracks like "Shadows", "Far Away" and "Bitter" are powerful, emotive and heartfelt and it’s almost impossible not to like them.

There is nothing as big as the aforementioned track but if your looking for a band to replace Creed, (yes I know Alter Bridge is virtually the same) then look no further then this CD.
