WOW, this is Power Metal of epic proportions, hailing from Germany, Wizard have been causing a stir for quite a while in Europe and this, their 2nd CD for Limb Music is absolutely fantastic.

All the songs are based on the Norse mythology and the music is as inspired as the tales on which they are based, the songs are as powerful as Thor’s hammer, as fierce as the Einheriers attack on the Rainbow Bridge. This is the sort of Metal that Manowar should be making and knocks spots off of their last effort. There is not a bad moment on this CD and this is totally indispensable, Euro Metal at its best.

I cannot recommend this CD too strongly, Limb Music must be very proud of this, if you like Rhapsody, Helloween and the like you will love this as it is as good as, if not better than the last CD’s from both bands and you know how much I like both these bands.

Expect to hear tracks off this every week on my show on HFM.
