WILDHEARTS / MUST BE DESTROYED

This a welcome return of the Geordie lads, who very nearly were destroyed by over indulgence in various stimuli, it’s good to hear their brand on sing a long Metal coming out of the speakers.

The Wildhearts live the dream of Rock N Roll to the full and there songs reflect this fact by being up tempo, and essentially happy songs to listen to. If you want proof of this, listen to the first single "Vanilla Radio" thee is nothing deep or meaningful about this song, it’s just a good time encapsulated into 3 minutes of modern pop Metal, with roots stretching back to the 50’s. All the other songs are coming from the same angle but retain their individual identity and make this a great CD to put on when you are going out on the razzle with friends or stuck in a car going nowhere.

Taken individually or as a whole this is just pure aural fun and before you know it you will be singing along to "Nexus Icon", "So Into You" and "It’s Only Love". I must give a special mention to the booklet that comes with the CD as a lot of care and attention have gone into it, designed like a graphic novel or comic book and each song is given a different illustrations and design, well done I wish more people world lavish such attention to detail and put as much effort as this has had and what’s more it’s in keeping with the songs.
