VADER / BLOOD

Vader’s "Revelations" CD was one of the best of last year for me an Arathorn and for the fans this is the Polish bands filler mini CD that mops up the bonus tracks from various countries and has 2 new tracks to boot.

First off the new tracks "Shape Sifting" and "Wait", both are Vader at their best and if this is a taster for the next album (due 2004) these guys have a great year ahead of them. Both tracks are fierce, angry and energetic and "Shape Shifter" twists and turns so many times it’s easy to see why they called it that. Just because the other tracks are bonus tracks from various countries doesn’t mean they are throw away as all are totally indispensable which make this CD an essential even if it’s just a filler.

The cover of the Thin Lizzy song "Angel of Death" is treated with reverence and is inspired but still has Vader stamped through it. Considering this is just a filler it’s a fine CD and better than some better know bands prime releases, essential.
