TYPE O NEGATIVE / LIFE IS KILLING ME

This is the 6th studio album for the Goth Metal band with the warped sense of humour and fans will not be disappointed as Pete Steele and Josh Silver are on top form as usual and have come up with a very good CD.

There is plenty of light and tons of shade on this opus and the very fact that there are lots of different moods on it means that you wont get bored with it after half a dozen plays. There will always be comparisons with October Rust as this was there most successful work to date and whether this is better is debatable but it does have some classic Type O moments, take "I Don’t Want To Be Me" it is almost punk like in places but unmistakably Type O Negative and destined to be a live favourite. As is "Nettle", "Gimmie That" and "The Dream Is Dead".

This is a fine return to form by Type O, no one sounds like them or even looks like them, accept no substitute.
