If I had to give someone a prime example of the current state of Progressive Metal I would have to point them in the direction of this fine CD.
This Finnish band has gone from strength to strength and builds upon their fine back catalogue, Destiny, Visions and Infinite, Elements is as good as any of these, if not better. The musicianship and song writing is exemplary throughout, Jen's Keyboard fills and Timmo's guitar flurries blend so perfectly that it's difficult to tell then apart sometimes. Songs like "Soul Of A Vagabond", "Learning To Fly", (no not a Pink Floyd cover), "Eagle Heart" and "Find Your Own Voice " will fit into the set list very nicely when they tour this year.
If you like Classically inspired Metal that Rocks and you enjoy a touch of Melody you will love this, I wonder if there will be a Part 2? And if there is, let's hope it's as good as this and not too far away.
