SEVENDUST / SEASONS

Sevendust are massive in the states and yet over here in Europe they struggle and I don’t know why, this their 4th CD is heavier than they have ever been and the fact that Dez of Devil Driver / Coal Chamber has given them a hand might have something to do with it. What ever the reason this is a class CD that deserves your attention.

Their sound on this CD is almost like Korn in places, the guitars have a much heavier feel than previously but the Sevendust sound is still there, the multi layered harmonies and the catchy, radio friendly songs come falling out of the speakers, like their lives depend on it. The first track "Disease" and "Enemy" are prime examples of the new revitalized band and "The Skeleton Song" cold easily be a hit single. I liked the last album but this eis even better.

Wake up Europe and take notice of a great band, listen out for "Face To Face", "Burned Out" and "Rain" and "Separate".
