SEPULTURA / ROORBACK

When a well loved band loses a key member it takes awhile for the band and the fans to get used to it, some never recover, others have success but emerge a different beast, (Van Halen for instance) and Sepultura have reached that stage.

Now with a new label (SPV) they have recorded a very good album, not as great as Roots but good never the less and as the title suggest they have Roored back. Songs like "Mind War", "Godless", and "Urge" and "Corrupted" should go down a storm on their live tour and should please their fans and hopefully win a few new ones. The raw aggression that was so part of their sound has returned and as the songs leap out at you from the speakers you keeps thinking, "hey this is as good as Chaos AD".

Initial copies of this is available in a double CD with the second one being cover versions of very unusual choices, such as Exodus, Devo and a cover of the U2 song "Bullet The Blue Sky" , which is rather good.
