PANTERA / REINVENTING HELL, THE BEST OF

Yet another best of, what with the Monster Magnet and Rob Zombie out as well it’s a good thing Xmas is on the way. Like both the aforementioned bet of CD’s this is basically for the fans and in Pantera’s case a farewell to them, shame really a bit depressing to think all we have to look forward to is Superjoint Ritual, it’s not Pantera and as for Down? Who Knos’s but I am sure Phil will return in some guise or other.

All the greats are here, "Walk", "This Love", "Primal Concrete Sled" need I go on, plus a couple of tracks culled from soundtracks that were exclusive’s and as a best of it does show that in their time they were a major force in modern Metal and a lot of the big bands would not exist if Pantera had not been. Like the Zombie this comes with a bonus DVD and nice as it is Videos were not a format that the no nonsense attitude of the band suited but good to have any way.

A fond farewell to Pantera and they leave a great catalogue of music behind them and if this inspires you to go out and explore the band then it succeeds if it’s goal.
