OLD MAN’S CHILD / IN DEFIANCE OF EXISTANCE

Described on the sleeve as Symphonic Norwegian Black Metal this features Galder and Nicholas Barker of Dimmu Borgir and despite being a side project it is just as good as anything that his main band have done.

All the tracks are top notch Black Metal and Nicks drumming thunders throughout the CD, sounding as good as ever, there is plenty of light and lots of shade here, symphonic keyboards, acoustic guitars and lots of Metal. Carrying on from where Revelations left off this will do very nicely until the next Dimmu CD and proves what a driving force that Galder is to Dimmu. If you like Cradle of Filth but don’t like Danni’s high pitched voice you will love this.

Song’s like "The Soul Receiver", "Black Seeds On Virgin Soil" and "Agony Of Fallen Grace" cannot be ignored and sound great coming out of the speakers.
