MONSTER MAGNET / GREATEST HITS

This is a collection from their A&M album and there are tracks from all 4 of the releases with the lion’s share coming from "Power Trippin’ (6) and God Say’s No (5) but only one track from Superjudge. The band has recently signed to SPV and is working on their next album "Radiation Day" as I type this review out.

There are no suprises on this collection and all the tracks you would expect are on here with the exception of "Twin Earth" but it is on here in another form, more of that later. This is a 2 Disc set and the second disc is the one that is of most interest, comprising of B sides and Videos, Eight of them to be precise and this is where Twin Earth comes in because the Video is here even if the track is not on the first disc.

Of the 4 bonus tracks on Disc 2 the Sabbath cover of "Into The Void" and "I Want More are the best. If you haven’t got into Monster Magnet this is a great introduction to them and if you are a fan it’s nice to have all those Videos, some of which have not been available or seen for a long time.
