MNEMIC / MECHANICAL SPIN PHENOMANA

This Danish band have come up with a gem of an album, sounding similar to the now defunct Fear Factory, with a touch of Zombie and Machine Head, this is Industrial Metal at it’s best.

The sheer power and clinical precision of tracks like "Blood Stained" and "The Naked And The Dead", coupled with the staccato rhythms and melody of "Ghost" and "Closed Eyes" make this an essential purchase. They’re not afraid to experiment as the atmospheric track "Zero Gravity" demonstrates, it’s full of effects and sounds with plenty of space for guitars to roam. When you consider that it took Fear Factory three albums to get this good and that this is Mnemic’s first CD it doesn’t take a genus to se that they have a bright future ahead.

If you loved Fear Factory from the Demanufacture era, you will love this and enjoy every minute of it. What does Mnemic mean I hear you say; well I am reliably informed that it’s the Latin word for memory.
