MACHINE HEAD / HELLALIVE

Recorded live in Brixton Academy last year this is Machine Head at the best, vicious, brutal and unforgiving. A lot of people didn’t like their last album, but hen they set their standards so high, even they had trouble keeping up with it.

Where Supercharger was let down was the production, the live versions of the songs from that CD prove it and they mix very well alongside the classics such as; "Davidian", "Old", "The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears, "Take My Scars".

I don’t normally like Live CD's but in this case I make an exception as it captures the band at their best, in front of an audience and although it cant convey the full Machine Head live experience it certainly gives you a damn good idea.
