LOST HORIZON / A FLAME TO THE GROUND

They came out of the north, their metal shining in the sunlight, blinding their enemies, their mission to bring retribution to the unbelievers and justice for the down trodden, using truth, justice and honour. Their battle hymns filled the air with such a joyous sound that it made the heart sing, the day of reckoning had come once again, death to false metal and all those who refuse to believe.

I wouldn’t call myself a novelist but you get the picture of where this band are at from the opening salvo, like the first visitation "Awakening" this is epic Metal with a capital M, like Rhapsody, totally over the top, escapism at it’s best and would make an excellent sound track to any Conan novel or any of the Eternal Champion books by Michael Moorcock.

This is totally awesome and anyone who fails to even admit that it is is not into Metal at all. The epic sound of "Lost in The Depths Of Me", the pure pounding Metal of "Pure", and "Think Not Forever" or the delicate beauty of "The Song Of Earth" and "Highlander (The One)" are pure joy to my ears. Let the power of Metal shine in your hear forever.
