KING DIAMOND / THE PUPPET MASTER

The King returns with a horror based concept album, just in time for Halloween and the master storyteller is back on top form, the music is Heavy, and Gothic, with progressive leanings and it’s a killer!

The story that the album is based on is told by the man himself on the DVD, which comes with this and very well he does it too, no special effects or fancy stuff, just the King telling his tale of horror and it works too. He has always surrounded himself with top notch musicians and this one is no exception, most of them old friends and even taking the concept away you still have some great Metal, heavy aggressive with just a hint of melody to keep it all together.

Check out "The Ritual", "Blood To Walk" "Living Dead" and "Blue Eyes" if you want proof and there is even a song called "Christmas" that has to be the best Metal Christmas song ever written. If you want proof that the King is the Master this is all the proof you need, buy in time for the 31st of October, listen in the dark and feel the shivers down your spine, good entertaining stuff.
