THE HAUNTED / ONE KILL WONDER

The resurgence of Thrash continues, this is probably one of the best Thrash albums in many a year, not as good as say "Reign in Blood" by Slayer but defiantly the best for a long time.

Right from the start the intro piece set's the pace and never lets up for a moment, tracks like "Shadow Land", "Shithead" and "Bodypuppet" are total killers, guitars and bass driving away like their lives depended on it and even when the track "Demon Eyes" starts off with a slower pace it picks up half way through. This track is an instrumental and really is a stab at something new.

"D.O.A." is another great track that starts off with marching and takes the rhythm form the sound of the feet, Metal at it's best. There are no bad tracks on this CD and if you miss the old style Thrash you will love this, The Haunted have come up with a very strong album and to my ears this is there best so far and all bodes well for the future.
