CHILDREN OF BODOM / HATE CREW DEATHROLL

This is their 4th CD and they just keep getting better and better, this time they are heavier, more focused and sounding meaner than they ever have before

Their last CD, "Follow The Reaper" was a good CD, this is a great CD, and if I had to describe their sound it would be Death Metal with Melodic Progressive Power Metal roots or Progressive Power Metal with Melodic Death Tendencies. The thing that impresses me the most is the fantastic use of keyboards, no not the arty farty ones your thinking of but real heavy keyboards, I don’t know how they have done it but they have.

There is not a duff or even slightly sub standard track on this CD and I cant recommend it too highly, and with track titles like "Needled 24/7", "Triple Hammer Deathblow", "Little Bloodred Ridin’ Hood" and the title track you know what to expect, damn good music. Expect to hear a track from this every week on my show.
