This current label sampler for Earache proves that the label is in better health than it has been for quite some time, all the tracks are top notch and although they are at the extreme end of the Rock spectrum all are very listenable indeed.

So what do you get well, you get one track from all of their current and forthcoming releases. Starting off with the Dillinger Escape Plan's, hard edged Metal, the enigmatic Mortis with "Parasite God" sounding more than a little like Manson, moving into the Nu Metal territory with Autonomy and Diecast. Then comes my personal favourite December, who are totally relentless, their Lament Configuration CD is a must buy as well as new bands like the Russian band Rakoth, the slightly Goth Without Face, not forgetting December Wolves and Cadiver Inc.

All this for only 99p, yes 99p, Earache must be mad, go out and buy this, even If you don’t usually like extreme Metal as releases such as this should be encouraged. TOTALLY ESSENTIAL PURCHASE. They have even thoughtfully included MP3 versions of all tracks so you can copy it straight to your computer, good idea guys, nice one.
