SKINDRED / BABYLON

As the Staind song say's "It's been a while" since Dub War called It a day so when I tell you that the lead singer with this new British band is called Benji and has a penchant for Reggae and Metal you will know what I mean.

Skindred are Dub War only more so, the Raggae is more hardcore and the Metal is more extreme and the way they are blended together is pure genius. The songs are almost impossible to listen to without wanting to get up and dance/ headbang and play air guitar and with Benji's unmistakable vocal talent you cant go wrong.

Stand out tracks include; "Babylon", "Set It Off", "Nobody" and "World Domination" and the only thing that may put some people off is if you don’t like Raggae but even if you don’t you may gain an appreciation for it after listening to this and I have always thought there was a strong correlation between Raggae and Metal, this CD proves it. Listen out for the bonus track at the end it's a Killer Raggae track called "Vampire Killer" and then tell me you don’t like it.
