SINCH / SINCH

Sinch are the latest signing to Roadrunner and they are a little different form the rest of the pack, taking their cue from Tool their sound is open and understated in parts and full on in others.

There is a futuristic feel to the lyrics and this gives them an edge over the rest of the pack, sounding at times not unlike Staind crossed with Nickelback you only have to listen to "Passive Resistor" or the superb "Bitmap" that start’s off sounding like some kind of computer game and continues with Sci Fi imagery. If you have downloaded "Seven" you will already know this excellent track, is this about the Star Trek character?, listen and find out.

Over all this is another good new band from Roadrunner, I don’t know how they keep coming up with such great bands, so far they haven’t put a foot wrong, long may it continue.

Standout tracks; include "Seven", "Bitmap", "To Die In Fall" and the sombre but beautiful "Artic Ocean".
