SENTENCED / COLD WHITE LIGHT
Finnish band Sentenced has come a long way from their Death Metal beginnings and this latest album is their best so far. Tinged with more than a hint of Goth Cold White Light sees the guys pulling out all the stops, the songs are memorable and very accessible and with a good production there are no bad tracks on it at all.
You only have to listen to tracks like "Luxury Of A Grave", "Blood & Tears" and Neverlasting" to be totally hooked if you miss the sound that Paradise Lost made during Draconian Times you will love this. With a bit of push this could be huge it's unfortunate that being a European band is still a bit of a hindrance in some press but with quality material like this it cannot be ignored.
