Rage have been around for over 18 years and their turbulent career has been fraught with problems but despite only Peter Wagner being the only original member they have remained consistently good.

Unity sees the band with another new label and like last years Welcome To The Other Side sees this German Power Metal band on top form. This is classic Metal sounding not too dissimilar to Y&T due mostly to Peter's vocals. All the tracks are top notch and a special mention goes out to Victor Smolski whose guitar/keyboard playing is exemplary throughout. His style reminds me of the great Joe Satriani, yes it's that good, he is inventive, creative but above all very listenable, you only have to listen to the instrumental title track to see what I mean, it is Progressive Metal at it's best not unlike Dream Theatre.

Stand out tracks include; "Down", "Set The World On Fire", "All I Want" and "World Of Pain".
