The Great Kat is one very intense woman and is obviously not someone who takes things lightly as this CD demonstrates. Mixing Classical inspired thrash guitar with screaming vocals, this is not for the faint hearted.
The opening track, her version of Wagner’s "Ride Of The Valkyries" stats the disc off as she means it to go on and although all the songs are short and I mean SHORT they are as intense as it is inhumanly possible to be. Her own compositions "War" and "Terror" are as extreme as it comes and totally relentless, I could imagine Genghis Khan listening too these tracks before going off the conquer most of the known world.
The other classical tracks you will know is the Goddesses version of Hungarian Rhapsody and if Liszt if could hear this what would he make of it?
The only problem with this CD is it is too damn short, but then maybe she has considered that this is all us mere humans can stand at one time and may be she is right. This takes the prize for shortest album of the year.
