THE GREAT DECEIVER / A VENOM WELL DESIGNED

You don’t get to be album of the month in Terrorizer unless you have a very good album, so when it happens I tend to take notice, as those guys know a thing or two about metal.

Featuring the talents of one Thomas Lindberg, (ex At The Gates), you know what you expect and you wont be disappointed, Metallic Hardcore is the name of the game and very nice it is too. The guitars have that eerie, haunting quality, much favoured by My Dying Bride and with a bit of melody thrown in for good measure what you have is deservedly an album of the month.

If you like the aforementioned bands you won't go far wrong and as this is on the mighty Peaceville label it's guaranteed to be top notch.

Stand out tracks include; "The Living End", "Enter The Martyrs", "Pierced" and "The Blade", sadly not about the film of the same name, shame, but still good.
