BOWLING FOR SOUP / DRUNK ENOUGH TO DANCE

When their last album was released, it didn’t do much at all, now nearly 2 years later the world has come around to Bowling For Soup's way of thinking. Partially due to the success of Blink 182, Sum 41 and Offspring, they are now the hottest property around and have even notched up a top10 hit single in the UK, in the form of "Girl All The Bad Guy's Want".

That pretty much sums up what these guy's are all about, they are not exactly male model's too look at but boy can they write a good tune. The single is just one of 17, songs on this CD and all are just as good, happy, sunny pop/rock songs and there isn't a bad among them. Weather it's "Surf Colorado", "Enily" or "We Don’t Want To Rock" the quality control is second to none and for some one who doesn’t want to rock they, they sure know how to.

Nearly all the songs are concerning failed personal relationships, straight out of some problem page, but hey it works. This is the aural equivalent of a Caffeine Boost of sticking your fingers in the mains socket (the last one is not recommended).
