ABSCESS / THROUGH THE CRACKS OF DEATH

Formally know as Autopsy this American band return with their brand of Death / hardcore noise and a welcome return it is too.

They sound a bit like a punked up Motorhead if they played Death Metal and the vocalist sounds a bit like Lemmy without the speed and as they rattle through numbers like "Raping The Multiverse", "Die To Live" and the title track you are only too aware that these guys take no prisoners.

That doesn't mean that they don’t have any finesse as there are touches here and there but they come across the best when the aural assault is merciless. One for the extremists among us but never the less a very good CD.
