SEVENDUST / ANIMOSITY

Sevendust return with this their 3rd CD and it's a mixture of total opposites, aggressive Metal and Melodic harmonies, mixing Machine Head harshness with the Melodic sensibilities of Linkin Park / Everclear with a smattering of Fear Factory industrial tendencies for good measure.

Tracks such as "Praise", "Trust" and "Crucified" are as heavy as they get while the slower more radio friendly songs like "Xmas Day", "Follow" and "Angel's Son" will no doubt get played to death in America and elsewhere given the chance and if I had a daytime show you can bet they would be sneaked in to the playlist quicker than you can say Justin Case. I don't think this is the one to break them big but it will certainly keep the fans happy and if you like any of the bands I have mentioned you will like this one.

If you are looking for something with a bit of edge but tunes you can sing along to as well then Sevendust are the guys you are looking for.
