OZZY / DOWN TO EARTH

Back after a 6 year absence Ozzy returns with a cracker of an album, and I must say it’s been worth the wait.

Kicking off with "Get’s Me Through" that starts with a piano and builds up to what is unmistakably an Ozzy song with Zakk Wylde on Guitars this is somewhat of a Renaissance for the OO, harking back to the Diary of a Madman days.

This is followed up with my personal favourite "Facing Hell" with it’s catchy Synth riff intro and bursts into life, Ozzy at his best, the ballad "Dreamer" is next and I know this is not to every ones taste and it took me a while to get into it but then again it’s soo good to have Ozzy back on the scene I can forgive him for this.

Overall there is not much to say about this as you either like Ozzy or not and I am somewhat biased so I won't go on, lets hope it’s not 2007 before we see the OO back again and we can look forward to a new Black Sabbath album next year. I hope.

Stand out tracks, "Facing Hell", "Black Illusion", with its shuffle beat and can you hear them. Also worth note are the 2 CD ROM tracks featuring Randy Rhodes, totally awesome.
